I just got results from NSW I get from Florida a couple miles off shore.
It’s weird to me. Compared to Florida NSW it’s not even close.
I don’t understand it.

It’s kind of like “who’s line is it anyway”

It should have values under the compare section. Did you ask the company?

Sorry.

510 ppm B? Seriously? Obviously a typo. Inexcusable, IMO.

If you believe the other results, the salinity is quite low and that is driving down potassium, calcium, magnesium etc.

How are you measuring salinity and what do you think it is?

I fat fingered help…

I’m confused. What other FL NSW are you comparing this against?

I collect NSW from a marine bio lab in Florida that has a pipe that goes out a few miles into the Atlantic ocean. I use that water for my water changes. Decided to get a ICP test done on it. All my home tests came back great.
My tank has great growth and no issues. Everything is very healthy.
Based on the results i see it shjouldnt be that way. Maybe i am wrong. Which is why i am asking for help understanding the results.
What looks bad?
What looks like wrong readings?

As I said above, the salinity is quite low and that is depressing many (all) of the values.

The boron is a typo.

Nothing jumps out as a huge problem to me except salinity, but do not always assume ICP values are necessarily accurate for everything reported by every company.

The salinity i check always when i get the water home and it reads always 1.026 using a digital Milwaukee refractometer.

A bit hard to read but magnesium looks very low at 1046ppm.
S/B 1350-1400ppm.

from the compare section, i dont understand what is means "object ppm"? could you ask the company?

Here is a better image of the test results.
Their comparison on the phone app works. That's what I was basing my comparison from. From their "share" download it does not work. Looks like its trying to read the comparison data from a broken database.
Pretty crappy service for a premium cost if you ask me.

Also I sent in 2 tests. Only got back the NSW test and still waiting on my DT results.

Im just surprised about gold, silver, titanium, uranium. LOL
Salinity I am sure its at 1.026. My Milwaukee digital refractometer has been super reliable.
But their tests are probably off because the sample is like 2 weeks old and the temp is who knows what.

I just wanted to test for fun. I have no tank issues I am dealing with. I am really happy with current growth and health of all my tank inhabitants.
Looks like this service I choose for my first ever ICP tests is just not very reliable.
Ill re-test magnesium using a home test kit. Also will see what the other result says for the DT whenever its ready.

Got my DT results finally. Anything stick out to anyone?
The phosphates look very high?

Its hard for me to take these results very seriously. And that stinks because i honestly paid a premium hoping i would get valid results.

The NSW results which I use for water changes are just too different from the DT results. It does not seem right.
I'm pretty sure I wont be using this service again.

I had to call them today to ask why one test result didn't come back yet, also provided them the tracking info. About an hour later the 2nd test results were in. This should not happen.
