Hello!

WORK IN PROGRESS I AM ONLY 6/14 INTO TESTS

I am at the point, where I will not be adding additional corals for a while. Testing every day for 14 days (missed one) to see the consumption of the big three with current roster of live stock.

IM 10
20-25% WC/Weekly

Tropic Marin Salt

1.0025 Salinity

78 degrees

Red Sea Test Kit

10 Corals - only LPS and Softies

Majority doing great.

(Please bear in mind that I am new to testing of these elements and that might show in fluctuation - hence 14 days straight)

I know it is tough to judge after only 5 tests but I wanted initial feedback. Does it look like I should be dosing anything? They are all staying within respectable parameters. Perhaps my weekly water change replenishes everything I need.

Thanks!

With your stocking, I would lean towards just the water changes. They seem to be keeping up just fine.

If you add more SPS it might be something to consider once they’re growing out.

If wanted to automate in the future a stand alone AWS would work great. And Benefit over a dosing pump is more safe guards from float or optical sensors . Also never really need to worry about trace elements this way except maybe iron if you are running a fuge.
