My college dorm lost power and they won’t let me stay and aerate my tank. The power has been out since 4. I am thinking I can maybe go get a battery pump does anyone have any suggestions for where or type so that I don’t spike the ammonia

Yep, we have a battery pump on stand-by in case this happens. One day, we will have an auto-power generator.
