Can I soak my Maxspect rubber bushing in 50-50 vinegar solution while in the impellers, or by removing them? And does it really dry them out at all? As I really don't know... Please help me I just got a used Maxspect Gyre XF 350 Duel and I want to clean it the right way.

Some people use citric acid - some use vinegar. I would check the instructions on the coralvue website - which has a number of videos on how and when to clean them.

But to answer your question - you can use vinegar - and it shouldn't cause problems depending on the 'duration' and the 'strength'. Its the 'acid' the dose the job - citric acid is just a little 'weaker' than vinegar. Imho - if you don't let the problem get far out of control - a quick soak - maybe 10-15 minutes in the 50 Percent - followed by a scrubbing/repeat (perhaps) - is all thats needed.
