My first thought is bite marks...what other large fish are in there with him? Any noticeable chasing/aggression?

He is the largest no aggression that i can see going on i do have a yellow watch man goby i see going after fish that get to close to his hole he and the tiger pistol shrimp live in and the only other fish that has a mouth that big is my starry blenny but ive only seen him bite me lol

My starry blenny also bites my fox face and it looks just like that

Wow is it going to kill him? I like them both. blenny doesn't seem to be biting the other fish i may have to rehome the fox face he is getting pretty large

No I do not think it will kill him, but if the fox face is getting too big you might want to remove him.
