Please help my LONGNOSE BUTTERFLY fish!!!

Hi
I just got a longnose butterfly a few days ago.
It was eating pellet food at the aquarium so i went and took him home.
However he still won’t eat anything i give him untill today…
I have seen him put food in his mouth and spit it out once, but that’s it
Im trying to avoid frozen foods at the moment.

Please give me suggestions!!

Can you post a video of the fish, and also your water quality readings?

You may need to use frozen food for it if it is spitting out your pellets (are they the same size and brand of pellets it was eating?).

why are you avoiding frozen i don't think a pellet only died is really that great
