It’s the white dot above the eye. Any advise on treatment welcomed. Thank you!

Did you edit that photo? Is that darkness around the face there? Please post a new photo
I’m going to guess it’s ‘blue’ from actually being white but the camera sensor picks up only the blue tint from the lights. Looks like the tang has HLLE so it may not be in the best health right now. Poor quality activated carbon can cause in tangs, as well as poor nutrition.

I’m not sure what that spot is tho. We might be able to better ID with your lights turned more white and maybe a better close-up.

it’s possible it’s lymphocystis, butI have always seen it on fins before body. Look it up and see if it matches what

Thanks for the replay, the dark is white... I have always wondered the same thing. This fish was captive bread from bota. It has always ate well, and been colorless through the face , I though it was because it was young. The spot arrived yesterday and the fish seems to be swimming a bit more sporadic. Feeding today is unchanged and the spot is still there

gotcha, captive raises YTs are notorious for the white HLLE when young for some reason but are otherwise healthy.

if the fish seems healthy, it might by lymphocystis and will go away on its own... but Iwould look into it either here or via google because if it’s not lymphocystis, it may need some treatment.
