Please help or emerald crab has to go

Mine would scrape the acros along their sides leaving large bare spots. I had no idea what was wrong with my acros until one day I watched the little sucker come out and start happily scraping the side a stag over and over and over.

That not good.i really like mine and I don't have my fuge set up yet so when I do get it set up I'm hoping if he continues to bother them he can live in there

I don't think your macro algae will last long with him in there.

I don't think you need to worry about the crab catching your clowns. Clowns are pretty fast swimmers. Even if they do get a pinch, I doubt it would kill them and they will be wary from that point forward.

Funny this thread is here. I just plucked one out of my tank eating my sunset monti.

1 liter bottle for size reference. Never knew they grew that big.

Hes going to be trigger food by the end of the weekend

Yup, little crazy right now. I found a 2nd one this morning eating on a SPS colony and destroyed at least half of it.

Wait, this gets better....


...just found a 3rd one under the same colony but was grazing on the rocks. This guy is about the same size as the first one. The 2nd was a tad smaller, but not by much. Who said emeralds were hard to catch???

The first 2 have been banished to my 40b/ fuge/ damsel tank. This most current one hit the jackpot and was re-homed to my 100g stock tank.
