Looks like red bugs to me. Start looking into the treatment soon. The good news is you can treat your tank but the bad news is any crab you have must be removed or face the great abyss

Looks like I'll be reading up on dipping any incoming corals, I haven't until this post.

Never had before that ive known of but have recently lost couple corals one seemed to expel its zooanthelle and lost color but still has polyps thought may been due to alk swing but guess bugs ...i recently bought two frags from an out of town shop i happen be by while was working and bet thats where came from not pointing fingers just be happy to mot lose more coral

You have red bug
Now the trick is to dip all infected coral.
Not many ways around this without going the harsh way.
Fenbendazole

You can nuke your tank with sentnal or interceptor, I have used both on my tank several times...crabs will have a bad day however...

Will bayer dip work as i have this on hand and been lookin up and prepearing to dip them to far as i can see its only really affected my frags on rack if it hit any mini coloniesmost were attached directly to live rock

Well i just started a dip 100ml bayer to 1 gal water for 10-15mins then will blow them off with spare mag pump in another container then set them in final container to do final inspect before back into tank. ..wish me luck n hopefully they only on the frags

As far as I know interceptor is no longer available. I have not used sentinel before but my understanding is that it is almost the same thing. As I said earlier, get your crabs and whatever bristle worms you want out as they won't make it. Remember there will be multiple treatments on your display tank to rid yourself of this plague! !

Fenbendazole???...where would i get this from for future treatment ...i dipped all frags and a red dragon colony i had that i seen them on everything else i didnt see any but i will be keeping a close eye out...i have a new fish coming in on friday so not to big on treating the tank with anything that the fish might be sensitive too

Do you have a quarintine tank setup for any new fish first? That's another thing you want to avoid at all cost because a whole new set of diseases can be brought in that require you to run your tank fallow.

No quarantine but have been talking to few other people on here about it and should be ok being its a leopard wrasse and they get to stressed and a qt tank thats not been running consistently for them is not much benefit anyways however i did pick up some prazi pro today at lfs to dose dt with once receive it
