Please Help what is my hammer doing?!

I have been slowly seeing some or the hammer dying back could this be lighting or what could I do to help stop this???

Medium flow andis close to medium height in tank for lights.
 
Do you ever get alk swings and calcium should be a little higher. 400-450

lighting could be an issue. Flow is fine if it’s not getting hammered
 
I would move it away from the light. All of my hammers are right on the sand bed. I even have one nice gold hammer that sits in a shadowed spot below and behind a couple rocks.

On pictures, there is a lot of.... diatoms,cyano, some bubbles? Really hard to tell...

What is the light, intensity etc?
 
Ok I recon it's the light too I'll move it and I've been doseing calcium and alk just to bump it up a little

haven't been able to measure my lights but yeah I'm struggleing with a bacteria too but it dosen't eem to have an effect on my corals atm I'm going to get the lfs to come in and try to get my tank back up to scratch
