I have a 29 gallon CoraLife Biocube and was thinking of using the second chamber as a Refugium. I have read several things on what type of things to put in there and there are several lights that are specifically made for this application. What I am looking for is a quick lesson refugiums and what I would need to set this up to get the best possible start at it. I have two different lighting sources( a leftover Current Orbit 18" light and a couple of Current Tru-Lumen strips that are white) and was wondering if these would be acceptable. Please leave suggestions on if this is a good venture to undertake and what should I do to set it up properly from the get go.
Thanks in advance

In my opinion, refugiums are a must in all reef tanks with some type of macro algae growth. Try chaetomora or culerpa, seems to be a popular choice upon hobbyist. As for light, you don't need much, that LED strip would be plenty.
