any gyre expert out there can help explain this to me. In the picture shown, i have my gyre run in manual mode for A and B. After i save the setting. Both A and B run for a good 10second, then the Pump A turns off (0%)and only B running. This happen to all setting including auto mode.

I would swap the connections on the controller for pump A and B. This will tell you if the problem is in the controller or the pump. Then you will probably have to call them.

The controler had dual pump connector to run two pump. I only have one pump

To clarify on the “A and B”. It is side A and Side B correct or its 2 individual pump like this pix

"A" and "B" refer to two channels, each for an individual pump. If you only have one pump connected, that's why it's going to "Off" on the other channel.

What type of flow pattern are you trying to create with your single pump? Maybe we can help you get there.

I have this pump also- love it but it was confusing.
One ( whether it is A or B) is zero because you were only running one pump. I have the same set up also and which ever one the cable is hooked into is the one that is working and the other pump- the nonexistent one, is zero.

OP, as others have noted, you have your Gyre hooked up to the B port, which is why A turns off after you saved the settings; the controller tries to run your program but finds that the A pump is missing and therefore turns off.

Both sides of a Gyre run at the same speed, since they're on the same motor. If you want it to run at a randomly varying speed, you can use random mode. Enter setup. Select the correct pump A or B with the wheel, and set with the center button. Now select the random mode with the wheel; turning the wheel clockwise, the mode order is constant, pulsing, gradual pulsing, random, and alternating. Select random (large/small/large arrows), and set. Then use the wheel to enter the maximum percentage speed, and set. With other modes, you can set several variables, but with random, all you can set is the maximum. Exit setup and that should do it.

Alternating mode is only useful if you have two Gyres and/or have switched one of the impellers on your one Gyre so that it can pump in both directions.
