At this point the guys saying that’s what ECC sent him . I’ve already sent ECC a email and I’ll be calling them Tomorrow about this situation. Trust me I’d love this thread to get out to more people I just didn’t know how to make it get out there. Also I have Zero problem posting the Company Name so people are aware to be very careful. I would not call ECC. Your fight is with the person from whom you received it. Let them fight it out with ECC.

I guess he did not sell enough raffle tickets to cover the cost of the anemone. Either that or he just could not help making an additional 540.00. The rose anemone worth 60.00 instead of 600.00

Oh believe me his sales over the 2-3 weeks before the raffle were crazy a few people spent over $1400 I spent $600 so he was more then able to cover his cost . I hate people who lie if ECC confirms this is not what they sent them He needs to learn a lesson not to screw people and Social Media is gonna play a big part in that

Let me put it this way. If I am spending 600.00 for a Nexus BTA, I will not accept the anemone that you got as a Nexus BTA no matter what lineage or pedigree it has, even a DNA sequence file that say it is a Nexus anemone. I would return it for refund.

So I didn’t spend $600 on the nem itself I spent the money on other Corals to get entered in to Win the Nem . You must have miss read what I typed . It was a raffle for every $100 you spend you got 1 entry into the raffle . So I got 6 entries because I spent that money on other corals

Perhaps you got a Nexus Joker, which seems like basically an all green split from a Nexus Burst.

Here is a description from Tidal Gardens:
The Nexus Joker Bubble Tip Anemone is a new strain which comes from the splitting of the Nexus Burst Anemone. This anemone has a dark green color with a faint purple center and icy speckles and streaks across its body. The tips of the tentacles range from pink to purple. These anemones will be roughly 2-3” when opened.
This variety is a color morph branching from the Nexus Burst genetic lineage. As such, there is a rare chance they may express some of those colorations on future specimens when they split.

I totally understand what your saying but When someone says your getting a ECC Nexus Burst that’s what your expecting I mean I’m not expecting something from a nexus I’m expecting what was told to me and all the others that have been in the Live Sales .

It is a bait a switch scam. Dangle a fake 600.00 anemones to get people to spend money. All the people who did not win would not be any wiser. The one that win, is the only one that complaint. The OP did not win what he supposed to win.
Just like you buy raffle tickets for a Lamborghini and once win you find that it was a Honda Civic instead. Nothing wrong with the Honda Civic, but it is not a Lamborghini, or cost anywhere near the Lamborghini. Dangle the fake Nexus will get a lot more people to buy to enter for the raffle.

Well I spoke to ECC and I’m thankful they actually took my call and explained everything to me ….The lineage they believe is a NEXUS just not a Burst . If the guys Burst split it’s possible that I could have received one that was from that split . Hay you live and learn . I do know one thing my business with this person is done I don’t care if he was giving corals away for free I’d never get anything ever again .

Nobody is paying the same amount for a Joker or Blaze vs a Burst. 50/50 Bursts are more expensive then 25/75. Only one color and it's not a Burst and does not have equal value.

I understand but I didn’t physically purchase the new I purchased other corals to be entered in a raffle to win a Burst ..in my opinion yes I feel I was screwed and for that he will never ever get my business again. He’s lost a good customer that’s on him there’s so many other people out there that I can purchase from
