My RBTA was doing fine in my tank for a few days after putting him in but now he looks like this. Is he dying or is he still trying to get used to the tank? He is still attached to my rock work. My tank is roughly 6-7 months old.
Please help

Give him time. I thought mine was dead or dying at first, now it's huge.

I’m going to try, unfortunately I have to go on a 3 day trip from home so I’m going to have a family member monitor him while I’m away.

When I first put mine in the tank it crawled into a dark cave and hung upside down from the cave roof. After a couple of weeks I thought I needed to move it into the light - but during my clumsy attempts to move it I knocked over a heavy rock which landed on it. After rescuing it the thing gave me another scare by ejecting brown goo from its mouth / bum.
Less than a year later and it's the size of a dinner plate.

If the foot is firmly plated, it'll probably be okay, but there may be some other factors to consider. What are your parameters, and how old is your tank?

Tank is 6-7 months old started with live some live rock from a tank that is several years old.
Salinity 1.025
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 0ppm
PH: 8.2

I don't see anything with your parameters that would be causing a stink. Some may argue that your Nitrates are a little low, which may cause some issues, but there are differing opinions on that, so I would not go dosing nitrates yet (learn from my mistakes, lol). As others have said, it may just need a few days to adjust. Definitely update us on how it's doing later on.

May just the Pic, but that “white” area is of concern.
Who else shares that tank?
Shrimps are famous that kinda stuff.
You can and should do nothing, not even feed right now.
While he’s stuck, that’s good. If he unsticks, that can be bad, if he’s starts coming apart, remove and discard.

Mouth open doesnt look good. But may still be adjusting as long as it is firmly attached it is still alive and "healthy" as others have said. It may move once it gets used to the parameters of the water to find a place of light and flow it likes.
