But it says on the guide that came with it that it doesn't use wifi and only Bluetooth

have you made sure that you are on the right type of connection? They won’t do 5G.

Yeah I use 4G

I had to use the 2.4 mode version on my dohickey to get it to work. Not techy at all here.
