how old is the tank? the are 1000 solutions without knowing the cause there is no way to pinpoint the one that will work.
when i get excess algae i shut the light off for 2 days increase skimming and water changes.
where is your water coming from? do you mix if yourself or do you buy from the store. need to check tds. thats usually the problem buying from the store. they dont change the filters when they should.
