I live in Chattanooga and I'm in need of some help. I'm having ATO problems and I work out-of-town Monday-Friday so tomorrow is the only day I've got. I had 2 JBJs that stopped working and was sent a third replacement that I have yet to open because the last time I had to buy an Aquamedic peristaltic pump locally and the first hose wore out and the second just keeps rolling off and hasn't pumped a drop.

All I need to get the JBJ operational is a small gph pump preferably an Aqualifter but anything small will do.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt:

I know the local store 5th day creations sales aqualifter pumps. Think I saw 2 in there yesterday. I know they are closed on Sunday, but i can open the store for you if need.

I'll send you a PM wiht my number if you decide to go that route.

I would recomend that you purchase a tunze osmolator if you give up on the JBJ, alot of us locals use them and they are great systems, comes with a nice pump. As for your delima, If you get into trouble I work basically on HWY 58, So I could come by and top off or check on it. I know that would be weird being we have never met, but if you really needed something done and had no choice, there are alot of us locals who can swing by and help you out

Thanks alot everyone I picked up the Aqualifter at bama's.....what an amazing tank....makes mine look like a betta bowl :D

jmaney - They stopped working after a water change, I had to unplug them and when I plugged them back in they didn't work. I did this several times without problems and then after a couple of months they didn't come back on at all. Maybe the initial power surge? I'm not taking any chances with this one doing the same thing, it will be plugged in at all times I'll just take the sensor plug out when doing water changes.

hope that works out good for you. You are welcome to come to a meeting sometime just check the forum for a post about out meetings.
