Hi everyone first I would like to say it's awesome to have a place to ask questions about reef tanks I appreciate letting me on here. I have been out of salt water tanks about 8 years now and missed it so much I am starting another tank up I have a few questions about all the new equipment out there now I have a 60 gallon cube RR I'm curious if I wanted to get sps reef going would the AquaIllumination Hydra TwentySix +HD enough for a 60 cube our do I need to go bigger when I left this hobby LEDs were moon lights and that's it I'm vary excited to hear some opinions and experiences please help me out

Welcome to R2R!

Personally I think a hydra 26 will to small a spread for a 60 IF you are looking to go full sps. If you are into the lps game, then the lower light along the edges may just work out. Full 60 cube I would consider a hydra 52. As I said, personally here. I tend to go over board and turn them down if need be. I would rather that, then not have enough light and have to buy more.
