What is this worm in my tank it's hard to tell if it's a Bobbit worm or not

He was reaching out and eating stuff off the rocks I tried to snatch him out but he sucked into the rock and disappeared he stuck out the rock about 3 inches one he was getting food

He's gone lol try to grab him real quick with tweezers and he went in the rock

this is a funny explanation but the only way I can explain it as he kind of looked like an elephant trunk reaching out and biting the rock for food lol it's like he could extend out then go back in

Thanks guys it is definitely a peanut worm and from what I read is reef safe I was worried for a minute

yea looks like a peanut worm. Should be called a elephant worm. The mouth moves around like an elephants trunk and seems to be just as nimble.

this is a bobbit or eunice worm. It eats a lion fish in the video.

I had a crazy worm in my old tank that I couldn't get rid of, so I pulled the piece of rock out, stuck a small piece of airline hose in the hole and pushed freshwater through it, eventually he came out. In the end it was just a big bristle worm, but I didn't like it...lol

Are you sure it's not a peanut worm? Is it kind of going in and out and snuffling around on the gravel in front on the hole?
