Everything else is doing great

I forgot to mention, pH is a 8.2, 0 ammonia and nitrite, about 80 nitrates, and some phosphates. Calcium was 470, alk was 9, and magnesium was like 1350

Nitrates are too high. Blow off your rocks and do a big water change. I doubt that coral will survive though. Once they start going, it can be very difficult to get it to stop. Just an FYI, your plate is an LPS, and your post is in the SPS section. No biggie, but I thought I would point that out.

I guess I've never had any issue with nitrates being the problem. I've had them over 180 before on a bigger tank and everything grew crazy especially the hammers and frogspawns.

I see shrimp whiskers in pic two .. My peppermint would steal food from the plate, and caught them picking at the mouth of mine when underfed. I started target feeding the shrimp and they stopped and it recovered but it was not that damaged.
I'd keep an eye on that shrimp

You have a no good coral killing theif somewhere! What all is in your tank? This is likely the work of a shrimp or crab.

What kind of fish do you have? It looks like something has taken a liking to your plate.

Fungia often fall victim to tissue damage, over illumination and alterations/swings in ALK. I would monitor water chemistry, and not give up on the coral, Fungia have amazing regeneration abilities.

Moved to----- LPS

I have two cleaner, 3 emerald crabs, two clowns and now a purple firefish.
Try to isolate the plate. If you can keep algea from growing on the skeleton and the crabs from eating it then there is a chance it will come back.

As salty could be crabs, I had a blue legged suddenly take a fancy on a bird nest once. Literally sat stripping the skin off it

I've noticed my emeralds like to take the food from the corals that don't really have any way or minimal way to defend themselves but at the same time my snails are always crawling over coral amd I feel so bad for the coral. I'm like go fobs your own dang food lol. I don't have any hermits because I know they can go rogue and kill snails. Souci is why I sent with 3 emeralds 2 cleaners and I forgot to mention one Halloween hermit.

Got a sump? Throw the emeralds and hermit in there, along with the shrimps if you can get them easy. See if the fungia starts to rebound without the suspect critters in the tank
