Ok so I saw my damsal chase him to a corner... I thought i had the bully.. then the clowns pitched in.. as he went to the other side securing himself in a tight little hole.. the two tangs were nipping.. so this went down

Yup after moving all of my frags and LR to one side and him hiding.. I had to take out rock to catch him.. now I have him in a hang on little tank until I can get a qt ready.. he of course is double stressed but he wouldn't have made it through the night..
My situation now is.. WHY? Either the clowns booted him off the island and he refused to go until they took fin and all from him beat him until now everyone else sees something isn't right let me get a piece of the weak!! Or he's sick and they are trying to rid him..
Mind you.. even though months and months ago.. I saved him from ick and velvet.. he's always been super mean.. will attack me every time I put my hand in the tank.. and let another fish step up.. haha not happening. Now he's hanging on by a thread:(
 
I have a lot of work ahead of me.. but making sure he is safe was my first and only concern..

This right here makes me think female. I've never, ever had a male attack me. Not once. Only females. That's probably the issue. Sexual maturity and two females just won't mix at all. She sure does look to have gotten her hiney kicked good and proper too.

Hahah it blows me away cause she's always been the baby and the other two were older and bonded.. they have always allowed her to hang out.. the other two have been acting stranger than normal lately... maybe they mated who knows

I have two tanks already established but one has baby phantom clowns and the other has the one maroon because he couldn't be added with the others after going without fish for 72 days.. immediately started attacking so he is by himself as far as clowns in his own 30 and the two babies are in a 14 biocube

We don't mind a bit. I had another idea.... if you don't want to stay up all night and don't mind ruining your container there... you could drill many many 1/4 inch holes in it to allow water through, but not fish. Then he could be hung on the inside of the tank but separated from the rest until you can come up with a more permanent plan.
