I followed the video how to update my p4 to the letter and when it completed the firmware tab shows 7.24 not the latest one, where did I go wrong??

When inside the GHL desktop software and did the upgrade are you sure you selected the one that said 724 in the file name?

I don't understand what you mean.
I downloaded version V1.1.3.2.zip
Opened it and installed it like the video says and followed the video to the letter

After you installed V.1.1.3.2 and loaded it.

You Connected to the P4 Via the USB port
You clicked on Backup and Restore on the menu option first to backup the unit
You clicked Transmit all setting from Profilux to file
You clicked all sensor data from Profilux to file

After you finished the backup you then clicked on Extra
You clicked on Firmware Update Menu option
And after putting the P4 into Firmware update mode chosen the V724 file?

I backed everything up, then a bootloader came up so I continued and followed video, going into device manager to set correct com number as video explained.
It then came up with version 1.3.2 which I started to run.
I restored files and restarted p4 like the video says and where it says firmwareversion it says 7.24 not 1.1.3.2

@Ditto I think there has been some confusion I sated in my first post that the firmware updated was 7.24, I presumed it should have said 1.1.3.2 but ive now realised the 1.3.2 is the gcc update and the 7.24 is the p4 update so I think it worked the first time.

Correct based on your screen shot above you are updated successfully.
