I've been trying to figure out how to use my phlizon black box for a while and while I've been told how high to mount it(18 inches) the brs video seems to go over par spread rather than par amount per depth level and shows the levels at both channels 100% and later say to turn down the whites to 30% my other question is what are my new par levels after docking 70% on my whites? And what are the levels by depth?

PAR meter...only way to definitely know what your lights are producing at the different depths and different light percentages. I am not familiar with this particular light, but everyone's PAR readings could be slightly different for each tank due to dimensions, scatter of light off the sides, etc... Most LFS will have a PAR meter that you can rent/barrow so you can definitely know how the light is effecting your specific tank.

I'm having no luck finding one to rent. my local fish group has a loan program but the site is so old no one even checks it, i just fear bleaching out my lps
