Just noticed these popping up in a few places in my tank and I don’t know what these tube shaped things are. They are soft.

Kinda hard to tell in the blue light. I'm pretty sure they're sponges. I had the same sponges appear as my tank started to mature. They spread quickly, and I thought they would take over. Over time they receded. If I look hard enough, I can still find one from time to time, but they've never caused a problem.

Thanks man. I was hoping they were sponges. The tank is almost a year old. I have found several pineapple sponges but I haven’t seen these before.

Yeah I second sponges. Harmless filter feeders and a sign of a mature system. They'll probably fluctuate with the amount of particulate foods going into the system

Can you get a picture with white lights, agree with possibly being sponges but could be tunicates which are harmless filter feeders.
