hey guys and gals I just found this creature in my sand bed doing what looked like eating one of my dwarf dusters! Please help me to ID this creature! I apologize for the poor pic quality I took it with my phone.

I wouldn't be holding anything that looks like a worm and came out of my reef tank... Could be a eucinid worm which can be dangerous. Does it have retractable jaws?

Seriously tho. Wouldn't touch it. Now that it's out tho, leave it out. Unless someone can explain that it's beneficial and is safe.

Yeah looking back I probably shouldn't have been holding it lol ... I have never seen anything like it before though!

Honestly, it looks to me like your feather duster shed his crown out of stress and crawled out of his tube in search of a better area. Check to see if the tube is empty

+1 The head especially reads feather duster without the crown.
