My flame angel started with a spot , a bigger white spot. Not sure if this is a bacterial infection or lymph or anything else.

Fish is very active and eating well. Not sure if this is something caused by fight or nipping by other fish.

@Jay Hemdal Please look and need your advise on this

Hi,

That doesn't look like Lymphocystis, and isn't in the normal spots for bite marks. it seems to be fish mucus. The trouble is, I can't tell you why the fish is generating extra mucus, but taker a look at this post, it lists additional information that often helps determine what's going on:

In additional, has this angel recently been treated with copper or other medications?

Jay

In-depth information:
Have you lost any fish to this problem yet? (see below) - Not yet
Are any invertebrates affected? Not Yet
Respiration rate of affected fish (in gill beats per minutes, count for 15 seconds and multiply by 4) - No
Are the affected fish still feeding? Yes eating as usual
What remedies have you tried so far? Nothing so far. Just feed with Omega, Selcon and Garlic
Digital image of the fish with the health issue, taken under white light - Added Already
Short video of the fish (linked YouTube videos work well) -
One more info - Recently my Skimmer overflown and all the collected skimate got added into the tank. then again after few day debris has been collected. Not sure if this triggered any bacterial infection. But other fishes are good

Thanks for the in-depth follow up! That helps me rule a bunch of issues out. However, I'm not getting a clear indication of what's going on here. I do not think the skimmer overflow was related to this, it didn't return anything to the tank that wasn't already there in the first place.

I looked closely at the bicolor angel - same genus as the flame, so if this were flukes, I'd expect to see symptoms on both of them, and I didn't see anything on the bicolor.

At this point, I don't see anything treatable - especially in your DT itself. Prazipro against flukes would be possible in your DT, but again, I'd expect to see symptoms on the bicolor if it were flukes.

Do you have a treatment tank available if need be? Catching the flame is going to be just about impossible, but if it worsens, the fish might slow down and then I would suggest treating with a broad spectrum, gram negative antibiotic in a treatment tank.

Thanks for the response again @Jay Hemdal . Yes i do have a QT. That is running without meds for now. I was thinking to do the same to wait some more time and move this guy if necessary and treat for Furan 2 + Kanaplex + Metaplex. But want to wait and see.

I will keep posted on this.
