tonight when I was feeding my mushrooms and anemome i noticed these were on another plug.
These were squiggling around the disc I have a shroom on. I took 3 different small videos of them.
Will try to get a better one with whites on a little higher...I had whites on in one video but low whites...
I tried to scratch them out/pull them out and didnt see any starfish bodies...so not sure if its some kind of starfish...I do have alot of bristle worms in tank due to bf buying a rock with some shrooms on it and didn't dip the rock...wouldnt let me post the vidoes so heres the youtube links...

thanks in advance

how do i get rid of them? regardless of what they are how can I get rid of them?
Coral rx dip? another kind of dip?

Melafix dip will kill it and it looks like a spaghetti worm. They're actually beneficial to your reef

Hmmm
all i know is they are really stresssing out my bf's ocd...hhehehe
I will try to get better pics later today...and post em...
anyone have or know of a decent pic of the spagetti worm?

how are they benificial to the coral? How do you get rid of them?
When theres no flow in the tank...they still move

I have many of these mostly in the sand they eat ditritus. Only thing i have against them is that there brownish and i dont like that on my white sand bed. If there to much i just suck em up with a hose with the weekly water chance or get Some plyers and pull em out by hand. They have no impact on my corals what so ever

Sometime they launch them selfs and you see them floating trough your tank. Then they reposition them selfs

If it is a spaghetti worm, CoralRX and Bayer dips will not kill it. The worm will retract into a tube and survive the dip. I had a spaghetti worm on a frag that I had in quarantine. I didn't want to put it in my DT, but everyone said they were beneficial. I finally (after months in QT and multiple dips) put the frag with the spaghetti worm in my DT. I have some spaghetti worms in my rock now, but they don't cause any issues and aren't really noticed. They are supposed to be beneficial. A local reefer and my husband shamed me into " just put it into the tank!" Lol. I did and no problems.
