Please ID this critter in sump

The video is of the foam pieces in the baffles of my sump. I'm not sure if those critters are copepods or not...they look to large to be copepods though....also, are they dangerous?

Amphipods. A type of pod. Great to have, fish love them

pull that out and shake it a little in your display and watch how crazy your fish will get chasing them. My sixline and clarkis turn into formula one race drivers.
