I noticed these white spots/speckles on my scolys a week ago. I thought it was sand but when I went to blow it off with a baster it would not come off. I dipped it in coral rx a few days ago and it went away. I notice that these white spots came back again. The only time you see these spots is in the evening/night when they are deflated. During the daytime when the scolys are inflated you notice these spots less. I have a few other scolys that seems to not have it. What do you think it is and are there anything I should be doing? Thanks.

My parameters are: salinity is 1.025. Nitrate 25. PO4: 0.07. Mg: 1350. CA: 430. Alk: 9.4.

I've had these scolys for about 9 months now and this is the first time seeing theses white spots (mesenterial filaments?). So I guess there is no need to do anything right now? Thanks

Ours didn't start until 3 years later. I wouldn't worry about it. Ours typically does it at night time, occasionally when I feed during the day.
