1. What are these and are they a threat?? I am getting ready to cycle some new 50lbs dry rock so would like to know if I got something bad in the tank before putting new rocks in. If they no harm then great.

2. If they will be harmful or be a problem for corals then should I remove them into refugium? By removing them to refugium can it still spread via return pump?

2 if ur talking about the star fish there are fine for the most part, they typically just eat coraline algae
