Hi,
I am still a relative newbie to marine.
I have a small fluval evo tank set up.
Been up and running for about 12-18 months.
Not added anything to the tank in about 12 months.

When I done a water change yesterday I noticed the below.

Any ideas what this is.

Thanks in advance

That is an aiptasia anemone. A pest anemone that can spread quickly. Best bet is to remove the rock, scrape off as much of it as you can, and put superglue over where it was attached so that it cannot grow back.

Wow that was fast.

Thank you very much.
Much appreciated
