Just curious to what this coral is and this spider web looking stuff is. Any input appreciated! Thank you.

A toadstool leather, and i believe a sponge. Looks like GSP growing in next to the sponge. focus is a bit soft on the poss sponge.
 
I thought I had a better picture. I'm no photographer! Tried to get a better picture but failed. Any tips for keeping the toadstool alive? The tank has only been up for 5 months and I've been slowly adding live rock. Its a 75gallon with only 45lbs of rock at the moment. No livestock but I have been seeing starfish and snails that hitch hiked.

good water parameters good light. med flow.
on the computer the focus is just a bit off on the sponge. it should have little holes,
 
It's not uncommon to see comb jellies attached to Sarcophytons/leathers. Comb jellies can look like fine strands of light filament.
