Is this some Type of polyp? Should this be on the back of my tank with my polyps?

It looks like polyps from pipe organ coral. They can be broken off and establish a new colony close to the mother colony.

If theres a hard red skeletal base its pipe organ. Rubbery purple mat is star polyps.
