PLEASE look at my porcupine puffer!

wht are These hanging white things on my puffer? They are too soft to be spines? Seems to be okay, eating and whatnot, had for about a week but nobody can tell me what they are

They're not very common in saltwater, but perhaps a hookworm of some type?
