Hello,
I have a bannerfish in qt now.
I did TTM, Prazi and after that he has 21 days in CP 40mg /g.

I noticed a something on the tail.
I thought it was a lympho, but today I zoomed it with my camara and it looks somewhat strange when it is magnified. can you please confirm what it is??
Thanks a lot

ups, the 3rd photos was posted by mistake.
but if someone knows what are the white strings in the live rock, please let me know
Thanks

That is probably lympho, but could be something like a pocket of skin full of fluid. You may just keep an eye on it for now and watch his behavior. It's very common for butterflies to develop lympho, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's all it was.... but you are right, it does look odd close up like that.

+1 Looks like possible lympho.
Feeding quality vitamin enriched food will help. You can use supplements like selcon, Zoecon, and Vita chem. Stable pristine water conditions will help too.

Thanks for your answer. his behavior is normal until now. He has had this for about 7 days now. He will finish CP in 8 days.
I am not sure what to do if he sill has this after that?

Thanks

CP won't cure lympho, or a skin pocket. Either way, keeping the fish healthy is best. If it's a skin pocket once it's expelled, you will just want to keep an eye out for a secondary infection. If lympho it will go away on its own with time and pristine water/healthy diet.

If you look at the photo it looks likes eggs.
I remember reading that lympho looks like coliflower, but not sure if lympho looks like my photo when magnified??
