150 gallon SCA scape. I went with a shelf type scape as some people f the NSA do not look as natual PK

I really like that scape! I wish I was enough of an artist to do something like that...
 
This will be primarily SPS. Once this tank is cycled and matured will start move if things over from this tank.
then I think you are more or less good. I do mostly softies, a lot of zoas and shrooms, so I prefer the flats to be slightly sloped for viewing purposes.

Did you cut them like that yourself?
Thank you. The rock is a mixture of Reefsaver Foundation 15 pounds , Double Flat 20 pounds , Premium shelf 40 pounds and 2, 4 pound rocks cut in half to make 4 more foundation rocks.
 
What did you use to cut them? I have a few rocks that really need a flat side. I was debating about hitting them with a grinder when I transfer to the new build. (They are in my DT now.) I just want them to be more stable.

I used my sawzall with corse blades. It took a while and a few blades about 2 blades per rock and 2 batteries per rock. as my sawzall is battery powered.
