We are reaching out to the Reef Community for some help. Andres (Dre) Piazza is a husband, father and a long-time employee of World Wide Corals Retail Store in Orlando Florida. Many of you know Dre from shopping at the WWC retail store over the years. Dre is known for greeting every customer with a smile and his willingness to help others. Dre was badly injured during a weekend ATV trip in Pennsylvania. On Sunday May 26th, he sustained a devastating hand injury and underwent immediate surgery. Dre has a long recovery ahead. We know deep down inside us that Dre has what it takes to overcome this.
Dre will soon fly back to Orlando, FL where he will be received by his family and friends to continue in his recovery. During this length of time, we have come together to do everything we can to support Dre. As you know ER visits to long-term care, medical expenses can wipe out savings accounts and leave behind debt that lasts for years. Dre needs our help and his family set up a Go Fund Me Account to help him with medical expenses not covered by insurance.

Thank you @revhtree and the entire the Reef2Reef community for your help and support.

speedy recovery

I work in our local ER (not a nurse yet, getting there) and I have seen some pretty bad hand/arm injuries from all sorts of things. I am sending my prayers to him and his family. Key factor is to do what the doctors/med staff tell him.

Sorry to hear, I had a very bad atv accident about 9 years ago in pa and was helicoptered out of the woods. I got hit with a 28k bill after fighting with Heath insurance and the hospital .. they stopped calling me for a payment when I called the person told me the state of pa wrote it off as a loss. I payed zero with no record on my credit ..... tell him do not pay the bill

I don't know you brother but I wish you a speedy and full. Recovery. [emoji120].

I've never shopped at wwc as I'm in Asia and can pretty much get what I want here without the shipping, so I have no experience with them. I do know though from reading posts here that they do charge a pretty penny for their corals. They have also just relocated to a larger facility which would suggest to me that businesses is booming.

I would have much preferred to see a post titled "long term employee gets medical treatment courtesy of wwc".

I've no idea how much med bills run up in that part of the world but I'm sure wwc wouldn't feel the pinch, and to get what appears to be a top employee back it seems like a small price to pay.

Just my thoughts.
