I haven't had any issues yet with serious pests but as my SPS collection expands I get more and more nervous with each instruction. I currently perform a thorough inspection, plug removal and dipping process but would like to think about setting up a QT for added protection. Can those of you with successful SPS QTs please share you setup? I'm trying to avoid a full blown tank set up but given the sensitivity of some SPS part of me thinks that might be the only way. I'm hoping to get maybe a shallow AIO show tank with very minimal systems and filtration to use as a QT. Also, please discuss any dosing routines you may use on your QT system - do you find dosing to be required for alk stability in a small SPS QT system or are regular water changes sufficient given the low demand of small frags?
