please show off your tank with Real Reef Rock

So Im Looking for inspiration and my tank rock is being changed. I was wondering what the deep purple red colour will look like

Its only a 15g nano, but so far I love the real reef rock.
If I haver start another tank and use dry rock , this is defently the way I will go.
The tank is about a month old.

This is real reef rock on a real reef in Tahiti.

IMHO, I would not use it again.
The rock itself is very dense, and the different shades of purple is only painted on. It's bone white (and slick, nonporous) underneath the coating.
I started another tank a couple of months ago using bleached and dried out previously live rock, broken down and created an NSA with it. Of course it's white too at the moment, but a ton of surface area within the porous structure of the stone.
If not having old live rock on hand, I would use Marco Rock over Real Reef Rock any day.

I love the purple colour and I was told there would be little to no die off. I hate my rock work and I want it to be more like pp feedings. Just to confirm this brand is man made and has no die off? I want to switch all my rock out

Real live rock.. few years old has gone through many changes and for dual xf350's this is absolutely the best layout for unbelievable random flow. Tank is a 250. Enlarge the photo to see the rocks and entire back wall painted with the same coraline from the rocks.

There are great tanks posted I'm sure you will find what you're looking for.

Real reef rock looks 10x better than life rock at a fraction of the price and has lots of holes for frags/plugs. I have both in my tank amd wish I had just gone with real reef rock.

There is no thing that really can die off it's some kind of white ceramic or cement with bottled bacteria and color painted on.

The color gets bleached away at spots with high light btw, before my sps were grown in the rrr was bone white if I looked from the top

All rock ends up that color. It just takes time.

If you replace all of your rock it's the same as starting a brand new tank. Any coral will have issues and tank will have to be cycled again.

It will help though, if you have a sandbed or other established media with a great surface area to help with the new cycle.

I have lots of sand and filter media. If I cycle the rock outside for While will it affect anything when I change it
