Please tell me this is NOT a baby aiptasia! It's super trendy and I just noticed it on the little window to my sump on my BC29. Last night I found an aiptasia on a tiny rubble rock and removed the rock completely. Tonight I find this ... those are baby brine shrimp floating next to it, that's how small it is.

Aaannnndd I just pulled about 8 more off the glass of the tank! I used a pipette and just sucked them off the glass and put them in a container.

Look like hydroid jellys to me. How old is the tank? I've seen them come and go as my tank aged.

Pretty new. Set it up a couple months agoish. Came with coral, live rock and fish.

Where do you think they came from? They are bad aren't they?

So these things are actually kind of interesting. Most seem to hang out in the sump because the ones in the tank get eaten by my damsel. Will they harm my corals at all?
