I picked mine up a few months ago and he has since become one of my favorite fish. He has a lot of personality and gets along great with my snowflake eel, radiata lionfish, and foxface rabbitfish in my 73 gallon tank. Does anyone else have any experience with these guys? I can’t seem to find much information on them anywhere other than a couple short articles.

Absolutely beautiful fish, other than being a small grouper, I don't know much about them. I suspect they may be in line with the marine betta. Sounds as if your line up of fish will work perfectly, I suspect he would dispatch of any small fish or inverts.

By the way, how long have you had your radiata, and what are feeding him.

From what I can tell it is in the roundhead family with the marine betta. The store I bought him from actually had him listed as a “plesiops betta”. I did have a cleaner wrasse for a few weeks... unfortunately the plesiops ate him so small fish are definitely out of the question.
I’ve had the radiata for about 3 months now, he mostly eats krill and small silversides. He was finicky at first and would only eat live food but it only took me about a week to wean him onto frozen.
