Can I use plexiglass for the baffles in a sump pump?

It depends - don't you love those answers? I've heard of a few incidents whereas people used Plexiglass in glass sumps and cut too snug. It expanded and broke the sump. I would use glass on glass or acrylic on acrylic to be safe but that is just me. Wouldn't hurt to do a bit of searching on the interweb to be sure though just to vet my opinion.

Don't quote me on this but I think most shoot for 1/4". I have an acrylic sump so not something I've done in a long time, sorry.

Lowes and home Depot only have 3/32 or 1/8.
