It looks like there’s an Apogee app that you can connect via BT to the Microcache. If using type C to type A, would it be possible to use an iPhone to connect directly to the USB Apogee instead of a laptop?

Seems so.. with the extra "part"...and correct sensor? Sadly the 520 isn't included.
Currently connects with the SQ-100X Original X Quantum, SQ-500 Full-spectrum Quantum, SQ-610 ePAR sensor,
The new AT-100 microCache (µCache) micro-logger is a rugged, standalone, battery-powered device that can collect over 400,000 data points and connects your sensor to your iOS or Android device via Bluetooth using our free ApogeeConnect app. The app allows you to make real-time measurements, set custom datalogging intervals, monitor and graph daily lights integrals, assure photoperiods, download datasets, and more.

Oh and it's "weather proof" .. not sure about water proof..
IP67 rated for harsh environments.
IP67-rated products can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes

The connector is IP-68.
Guess the real answer is no..
AFAICT

I’m looking at getting the 520, but I’m wondering if I can use a usb-c to usb-a adapter so I don’t need the Bluetooth.

I may have to just contact Apogee directly huh. I was hoping someone here may have tried.

That BT unit is over $300 lol.

Yea you would think it would be so easy.
This is the same problem I have w/ the Seneye. Only "computers" so I bought a cheap Windows tablet... JUST for the Seneye.
Lot cheaper than $300,, at the time.
Well still is.

8 inch IPS HD screen win10 tablet PC Windows system entertainment office 2-in-1

$149

Win 8.1....lol..

Hmm, this might actually work then. Is the PC/tablet fast enough to load windows and get into the app? Lol.

For $40 it might be barely more than what the adapter would cost lol

Can you link this one? I can’t find it.
Yea,it's on Walmart .
It comes up in my app but no easy way to directly share..
This is the brand and distributor
I assume this is the not refurb one.

There..

Hmm upgrade..

Posting this Amazon review because it has helpful tips on these low memory cheap win tablets..

They can be very frustrating. I had to perform similar steps to get mine "upgraded" Really more like patching.
Win updates would always fail due to memory issues..

Found the $37 one. Thanks! Yeah 1GB of RAM is rough. I should have some SO DIMMs laying around somewhere I might be able to swap in.

As long as it can effectively do the single task of launching the Apogee software I’ll be happy lol.

No its the 32gb max on board ss drive.

And pretty sure everything's all one piece as to the board. I seriously doubt one can upgrade any hardware.
Its like upgrading the ram on your phone.. ;)

Opps that one has 16gb.

The table I bought was a Nuvision tm800
