Plug for an LFS

I just went into Aquatic Cove's new location in Madison, next to Publix on County Line Road. Very nice. Three-to-four times larger than their previous store that was by Subway, and seemingly well stocked with animals.

If you haven't been in there, you should stop in and try to support them if you can. I would hate to lose another LFS, particularly since this one is walking distance to my house.

I agree. Love the store. Prices are very reasonable, too. Not as cheap as online, but no shipping!

Very nice store they've set up there. Was in a couple weeks ago with my wife and college age son. He's interning at the Georgia aquarium this semester.... would love to have been greeted or even acknowledged by anyone there, but we were pretty much ignored by the staff, even the kids scraping and cleaning the tanks during weekend business hours. I'll still go back, but I believe the customer service will need to be better for the shop to survive. We get better at the Aq Sh. Unfortunately, they don't have quite the same level of livestock.

Well, I hope they get that fixed. It wasn't my experience there, although, at the little store it would be hard to ignore someone.

Part of it may be due to the fact that he added some new staff for the new location. I haven't been there when it hasn't been busy so I have had to wait but once I got their attention I have always had my questions answered.

I'm optimistic that they'll do well. That tank when you first walk in is amazing!

They just setup our new 90g tank stand hood sump we bought from them.

then came, took down our old 60g, setup the new, transferred everything, and took away the old system on consignment.

and the do our maintenance also.

We are very happy with them.
