Plugging up an old mixing station brute can

I have 2 32g Brute cans I previously used for a mixing station. They both have single holes near the bottom from the plumbing and uniseals. Is there any way to plug those uniseals or hole so the cans will hold water again? Just need a temporary fix to hold some water for when my upgrade goes live. Would I be better just getting new ones?

Use pvc fittings like a union valve or a cap

I have sealed them with capped bulkheads.
