Plumbi6 Syphon Issues with raised AWC/NSW.

Ok my NSW mixing tank is raised. I need to use a pump with my AWC. How can I stop the water from continuing to the sump when pump is switched off?

My NSW tank is higher than my sump. NSW tank is on a stand.

The most elegant solution would be to install a siphon breaker valve; however, I have never seen one that doesn't have metal parts.

A simple solution would be to add a T in the pipe at the sump, and run a pipe vertically (as high as needed) to allow for air to enter the line. When the pump is shut off, it should suck in air, thus breaking the siphon. You need the vertical pipe to be long enough the pressure doesn't force the water out of it.

I wonder if I made a pin hole in the NSW tank hose. Just above the water line? Sort of like we do on returns to the tank
