Ok guys I am having to do some replumbing for an established tank. How long to do I have to wait before I can start running water through the new pipes? A few hours? I know the total cure time is 24 can I start using it sooner? Thanks

I can only give you my personal experience. I usually try to wait at least 30 mins roughly. All though I've probably ran water through drain lines in less than that. I try to wipe excess glue off/out as much as possible, do something else for 30 mins and then let it flow. No issues with that ever.

I think we're more concerned with the glue leaking out or whatever into the water than the pipe coming apart. I run carbon and filter socks and have never heard anyone claim their corals or fish died from pvc cement. I'm sure they're out there, but it's not something I've seen.
