For plumbing my drains, where they go into the bulkheads on the sump, should the bulkheads be threaded or can they just be slip and the PVC will just fit into them without being glued?

You'll want to glue it if you do the slip fitting

Anyone else thoughts on this, do I really need to glue the PVC into the bulkheads that go into my sump?

OK, thanks everyone, I don't think I will glue them either, it will be a lot of trouble for me to do that. I have never in the past either.

I would go with threaded because it gives me the access to remove as needed (granted a union would also serve that purpose) and it would help reduce the threat of leakage.
