I want to do a "dry" run of my plumbing before glueing any PVC. Is there a good way to temporarily hold the PVC together? I know it sounds hack but I was thinking duck tape maybe?

The drain pipes should be fine....not sure about the pipes under pressure. Duck tape is pretty strong though:smile: What are you trying to accomplish by running the water prior to cementing together?

One thing to remember, when you are dry fitting the pieces are not as tight as when you truly join them. You will have to account for them, can lose up to 1/2 an inch with each fitting.
