Would there be any issues growing algae on my scrubber if I plumb from my UV into my algae scrubber? I was thinking of plumbing from my return with a t-pipe and then having the UV connected to the algae scrubber and the algae scrubber back into the sump.

Thank you in advance for any information that may help.

I would plumb it after the scrubber if you can. Before may kill any algae spores, thus making it harder to grow hair algae in the scrubber.

You ideally want as much unfiltered water as possible going to the scrubber input. Also, bacteria populate the scrubber growth, so you don't want to kill those off before they get there.

Also also, a UV usually needs slow flow for high contact time, and that flow rate is usually too low to be effective for a scrubber.
